I've done several Patreon pics now of actual people, and I can't do it again. In addition to taking forever to draw, it also raises a slew of potential problems with the person getting drawn that I'm just no longer wiling to deal with.

THE RULE FROM NOW ON: You may request live-action characters, but not real people.

What does that mean? It means

You can request Black Widow, but not Scarlett Johansson.

You can request Hermione Granger, but not Emma Watson.

You can request Daenerys Targaryen, but not Emilia Clarke.

Hopefully that clears everything up and will prevent any future issues.

Good decision and sensible rule. Art of real people is a serious ethically dodgy area.

I’m actually fine with this decision. Good on you for making the call.

The rules are clear now. Thanks for letting us know

I'm 100% on board (not my kind of thing anyway). Your examples are based on books, however, so how about Kate Winslet as Rose in Titanic? This a hypothetical, just to see where you land.

Frail Hellion

Understood. Also, the thought of a messy diaper resting on Jack's head during the iconic boat scene is too funny not to share!

Anonymous

well then it make sense that Jack could fit on the door with her to save his life LOL

aw man I was planning on getting a commish of Rachelle Summers, welp, gonna have to look elsewhere then, which won't be easy, but I must ask, what problems in particular get raised with commissions like those? also as much as it burns me that you're no longer doing such art, I'll still be supporting you regardless

It invites unwanted attention and complaints from the actual person being drawn, who may not want to be drawn in such a manner. And actual people just aren't particularly suited to the style I've cultivated, which is much more cartoonish. It's difficult and takes a while to try to adapt real people to my style, which slows down my work.

Baby T

ah ok now I understand, however Rachelle Summers has actually worn diapers a lot of times for diapergal, however I don't think she'd like being drawn in a full diaper, so thank you for clarifying, I won't talk about this any further
