Flapper Vanessa WIP (Patreon)

For our very first WIP ever, we have this Patreon's first original art piece - my OC Vanessa, dressed as a flapper girl in a speakeasy to help us ring in the Roaring Twenties.

Something still feels slightly off about it at the time of posting, but I can't quite pin down what. The design of her outfit perhaps? Feedback is more than welcome.

How long do one of these sketches usually take you? For a simple outline sketch I can already visualize the amount of detail and what the end product would sort of look like. Truly remarkable.

Thank you. The amount of time the sketches take tends to vary, but this one took a few hours in all.

It looks great! By the way, do you think we’ll ever get a tutorial on how to draw diapers? The thing I have trouble with is getting it to look filled.

Thank you! Yeah maybe I could try something like that, but I'm always changing my own method. Any tutorial I make might be outdated before you even see it. But if I can give you one piece of advice right now, just start by lightly drawing in a clean diaper, and then add a load to it, making sure to respect gravity when you do.
