Unrelated to the episode, but just jumping on the most recent post to ask—does anyone remember in which episode(s) the Boyz talk about The Sopranos? Just finished watching it for the first time and want to hear them discuss it

I am here for some ABZ GI Joe talk! The comic was particularly good. So good Hasbro ended up having Larry Hama write all the file cards for the action figures. For a chunk of the 80s GI Joe was one of Marvel's top titles,it was that good.

Saw MF when I was a kid, probably around 8. Just the right age to be into it, especially since the mid-70s to the mid-80s were prime dirtbike era. We couldn’t afford a real dirtbike but that didn’t stop me from watching any movie that featured them. That 707 theme song freaking RULES. I still blast it when I DJ at the Mahoning Drive-In down in PA, where they show retro movies on 35mm https://youtu.be/RsI-vu66U5Y

Oh shit! Henry Silva played Chunjin in Manchurian Candidate (1962). Guy had range. Love that movie and book.

No idea Golden harvest was in on this. I remember a weird line from Jackie Chan’s bio (My Life in Action) where he’s talking about Wheels on Meals and why the title is backwards. The studio didn’t want to call it Meals on Wheels because the had “bad luck with movies that started with the letter M”.

John Blood

That movie is awesome. The fight with Benny the Jet is one of my favs. I watch it at least once a week.

Came here for that too. Love the OG comic series by Hama. The fact that the original cartoon was a through narrative really made it stand out. To this day, really holds up (especially the training scenes featuring real explosions, lasers and … crocodiles?)

Silverhawks?! Was having breakfast at Burger King before going fishing with my dad (I was maybe 10 or 11) and he entered some raffle. A few weeks later I found myself laced with the complete line of silver hawk toys — was not a fan of the show until this point. My folks were split so had to keep half at each house, which was a total bummer but having so much of that stuff was thrilling. The toys were amazing but coming up poor, I didn’t truly appreciate how lucky I was. The only one that I really remember was a big red plane thing that’s wings pinched together. Ugh.

One of my absolute favorite VHS covers when I was a kid and my mom would take me to the video store.

I’m so mad I watched this pos. But I’m so glad that I watched Straight Time last week so I guess it evens out.

The Knight Rider lore is actually crazier then being just a drifter. He was an undercover cop who got shot in the face but he had a metal plate in his head so it saved him but blew his face off. The Foundation for Law and Government find him and give him plastic surgery to make him look like the founders dead son, who ends up not being dead and comes back as a bad guy (Also played by Hasselhoff) and has a 18 wheeler death machine.

Will See

Hell yeah

I generally don’t skip watching the movies but this one might be an exception.
