Gabrus, as a lover of weapons, did you ever stumble across the Palladium RPG's Compendium of Weapons, Armor, and Castles? That was one of the many RPG books I owned, loved, and never used in a real gaming session with friends. Here's a link to an image of it: https://www.nobleknight.com/P/6505/Compendium-of-Weapons-Armor-and-Castles-The

The Palladium role playing universe was awesome, and Rifts was dope as hell. I wanted to make a Rifts character with Rifts weapons and use him in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe and be invincible.

“The gauntlet” is what the gerbils call Gere’s colon.

I can't say if King Arthur and the Knights of Justice is good. I haven't seen it since it probably first aired, but I will say the theme song rules. When Rodgers brought up Verhoeven making this movie better, I thought of Flesh+Blood. I really hope the Boyz add it to the list, cause it is a wild one.

GD Dimwit Rogers as always! Dude, can you not go more than one fuckin' hundred hours on mic without coming off like an absolute GD inbred troglodyte? This fuckin' simp just pulled that fuckin' Alex Ross, 'Kingdom Come'/Alan Moore, 'Twilight Of The Gods' bull pooh anecdote totally out of his patooty. This GD Smegma bucket totally got GD near every aspect of that fuckin' anecdote bang-on exactly right... except the small fact that Alex Ross just illustrated it (You festering pustule!)... The writer was actually Mark Waid! My Lord, Rogers, what a GD poop head! I hope you Get violated with a broken 40 ounce! Additionally! Moore pitched 'Twilight of the Gods' shortly after Watchmen wrapped up--circa '87-'88-- shortly before he parted ways with DC, and while a good deal Moore's pitch centered around the concept that the different super-hero "families" (the "Bat-Family" [Bruce, Dick, Tim,, Barb, etc] the Superman family [Kryptonions], The Amazons, the Speedsters, Lanterns, etc, had, over time divided into dynastic houses that had become more a governing Pantheon inste-- oh crap, I just bored myself. But, yes, indeed a great deal of the other plot elements in Kingdom Come bare striking resemblance to Moore's pitch. He kinda tackled a few of these concepts in his amazing Miracle Man/Marvel Man run, but DC would never, ever have let him make a book half as dark and subversive as his Miracle Man run was, at least not with... no, they just wouldn't have let him. But, I digress: I hope Rogers gets Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis for this appalling gaff! Burn in He double hockey sticks, Action Boyz! Kisses.

Kingdom Come has a big religious streak in it. One thing Ross likes and has in KC and Justice is a pairing of Superman and Captain Marvel/Shazam. Miracleman needs to come back with someone willing to go as far as Moore did with the Olympus arc.

John Blood

Verhoeven almost made a Crusades movie with Arnold. That would have been awesome

Eugenio Triana

I think there was script of that doing the rounds online. Back in the days of drew's script-o-rama

Makes sense because the MC is based on Ross's dad, who was a preacher (or minister? idk the difference)

Gabrus, could the "viking funeral" sequence you were trying to recall actually have been from Game of Thrones and not 'Vikings'? In season 3 of GOT, while at Riverrun, Edmure Tully (Cat's brother) tries to set Hoster (Cat and Edmure's father) Tully's funeral boat alight with a flaming arrow and keeps missing before Bryndon "Blackfish" Tully (Cat's nuncle [yes, nuncle]) steps in and shows Edmure how it's done. If this scene was actually in the books, I'm not the sort of massive dork that would know from multiple reads... if you wanted to know I'd start by asking somebody familiar with the books only term 'nuncle'.... ... alright you caught me! Not in the books, but spectacular scene.

I can already tell the Boyz are gonna love this bit. Definitely not getting deleted, and they’ll probably let Hyden kiss Stanger

Don’t worry, I was sick of the bit before the comment was posted.

I always thought the politics of King Arthur were pretty simple… The Lady of the Lake, her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite, held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine providence that he, Arthur, was to carry Excalibur. That is why he is your king.

John Blood

You can't expect to wield supreme power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you.

Hey, catching those is hard. Speaking of javelins check this out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcfxUUywkas

A stunt horse that can cum on command sounds like something Cliff Booth would have. With the pit bull he’d be unstoppable

Hell yeah

I remember the scene with the rowboat hooked up to the pulley as a kid and thought it was the coolest trick. Now watching this it’s kind of a snooze.
