Heat 2 was a fun read. Meg Gardiner did a good job of translating Michael Mann's world into a book that moves between timelines and characters smoothly and keeps a tight pace. Pat Cadigan did a similar thing with William Gibson's unproduced script for Alien 3. A great improvement on the Fincher movie, which was pretty dull.

I’d like to recommend a podcast that I think that the Action Boyz and their fans will enjoy: The Kingcast. It’s an awesome podcast discussing Stephen King’s works. Amazing guests on The Kingcast, including King himself. I highly recommend reading Stephen King’s short story “The Jaunt,” and then listening to the discussion of that terrifying story on The Kingcast. So, “The Jaunt” then The Kingcast for an awesome experience. 👌🏻
