Love this movie, saw it for the first time at a tiny 2 dollar theater ten years ago half drunk and super stoned, perfect setting

Just going to pop in here with a quick fuck Robbie Robertson

Weird to think I know more about the family secrets of the ABZ than my own fam. Maybe this weekend I’ll ply my old man with a couple IPAs and see if he ever shanked a man at a donkey show or something

I got the cops called to my apartment the night Levon Helm died because I was watching this movie too loud.

The Band isn't necessarily my cup of tea. Great musicians, but they’re classic Americana/folk/jazz white dudes ripping off the blues. But hey, Mavis Staples took part so who am I to judge?

I would also highly recommend Shadows and Light, a live Joni Mitchell concert film (there’s also an album) https://youtu.be/cO8rrWM8Ov8 Features some amazing jazz musicians as her backing band (Jaco, Pat Metheny, Michael Brecker), and a weird movie of a coyote running in the snow while she plays “Coyote”. Not nearly as good of a film as the last waltz or stop making sense, but the level of musicianship is far and away better in Shadows and Light.

When the boyz talk about their parents it always hits so hard in relatability and funniness. Brilliant ep as always

The Starbucks call is totally wrong. It’s real tea. Source: I worked there 2007-2010 and my wife works in marketing there now.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone more in love than Martin Scorcese with Rick Danko
