Truly magical seeing Steven Seagal play EPA agent, Jack Taggert. He’s an aikido doing, water testing, guitar playing, master carpenter POC. Talk about the role of a lifetime. FIRE DOWN BELOW

Weird blink-and-you'll-miss-it appearance by Robert Ridgely (aka "The Colonel" from Boogie Nights) as one of Kristofferson's cronies that leaves the poker table at the end once Seagal shows up. Also, some very good very legit insights from Seagal here about his guitar collection: https://youtu.be/d2MUzYR_2eM

When filmfan meets new people, how long do you think he waits to bust out the wakanda slave trade theory? Is it up front as a litmus test for who he can get along with, or a slow reveal after months of chit chat?

Just picturing the 3 of you sitting by a fire with in like fuzzy socks and comfy blankets giggling and it brings me big joy.

EPA agents are armed. Just… had to say it.

My in-laws worked for the EPA, so I asked them about the work that Seagal did in this movie and if it followed EPA protocol, since it is important to protect ground water and all, and they told me that I am an embarrassment and they can’t believe I married their daughter.

One of my favorite over looked Seagal moments was his brief stint as Anderson Silva's weird celebrity hanger-on. He'd show to events in his dumb shooter glasses and talk wild shit. He claimed that he showed Silva the front kick that Silva famously knocked Vitor Belfort out with. Also became "friends" Lyoto Machida. When Machida knocked out Randy Couture with the closest thing to the Karate Kid Crane kick, Seagal claimed he told Machida to do it. If I remember the quote it went "And I said to Lyoto-kun, use the kick."

Given how expensive song rights can be, is it possibly the producers were early pre-Crystal Cove fans. So they said, “SS, bubi, you can wear what you want, you can do 5 identical weapon disarming moves with the only difference being what orifice you shove the gun barrel in, we just want you to be on the soundtrack”. It causes the acting choices to make more sense.

What Zevon does, using one's body to create percussion sounds, is called hamboning. Some good YouTube videos of Pete Seeger doing it also.
