Crazy thing about that Twin Peaks bar shootout is that no one got convicted over it. Nine people ended up getting killed but the whole prosecution aspect fell apart. It's nuts. New York Times had a big article about it earlier this year. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/02/23/magazine/waco-biker-shootout.html

I think they talked about the guy who choked out Segal in the hard to kill episode on high and mighty. So it's in the lore of the show somewhere. R.i.p

Is it weird that, as someone who usually reads about 20 books a year, the only book discussion I ever hear is from this podcast?

We gotta chip in and get this prop for Val Verde. The hunka chunka. https://twitter.com/Howsito/status/1563919751814197250?s=20&t=b9tXuVCGJFaMcJ22d0R0FA

So grateful ABZ did Back to School, but now wishing there might be some Shadowolves eps where they just give a non action movie the regular ep treatment. I would have loved a run-through of this movie. Maybe Real Genius? Boogie Nights?

Can anyone send me a time stamp to when Nope spoilers are over in this ep? Heading on Monday to finally see it... Thanks 🙏

Hard Knocks this season is in fact really great.

Listening back I missed the quick Jupiter Jones mention. I loved the Three Investigators as a kid, especially the Crimebusters books. 🤓

I must be some kind of genius then. Because when they said they were about to give Nope spoilers, I shut off the episode and watched the movie. I need to go take that Stanford-Binet thingy.

Back to school is such a great movie. No joking about dives!

I bought Heat 2. I haven’t read a book in 10 years. My kids thought I didn’t know how.

The ketchup packet when posing as "Thrifty Boy", ep.1 The Rehearsal, tore me up.
