Is George Miller the only one using real pyro anymore? I think about it a lot watching new movies/shows(def a distraction in Prey), I get that it’s cheaper/faster especially for TV but are there actual health or environmental stipulations against real pyro on sets or is it just a financial/style choice? A real campfire on screen would be a sight for sore eyes brother. Feels like a bigger deal for assholes of a certain age, I’m going to be complaining about this to young people like I moan about how they used to play DEFENSE in the NBA for the rest of my life

I remember Blue Steel being a bummer cuz I was thinking it'd be Jamie Lee kicking ass in cop mode but that whole idea gets squashed quick and she's thrown back into final girl mode with a psycho on her ass and Clancy Brown has to protect her and shit. not bad but maybe a missed opportunity ..I dunno it's been a while, should check it again before the ep
