Wow with all the spider and the fly bits the boys missed the perfect opportunity to reference Buffalo Bill Sadler and Solo.

I met Val Kilmer once. I was like 8 yrs old. There was this theme park in DFW called Sesame Place. There was this big hub bub because Cher was there. So all the moms were gawking at Cher. I didnt care so I was standing off to the side and there was this young guy with Cher. I clearly remember that he had a skateboard. He was also standing to the side so my aunt could take a pic of Cher. So we both kinda waited til they were done. Wasnt til years later that I recognized him as that cool dude with Cher.

Was the halo over his head at the end of the movie too much? I guess it’s needed to really drive home the whole saint aspect. They barley eluded to it during the rest of the movie.

Glad to see the Gray Man movie is rekindling Gray Man conversation here and on Hollywood Handbook. Their teaser breakdown was fantastic. Time to rewatch that stupid knife video.

The closest comp to this movie for me was Master of Disguise, the Dana Carvey movie.

It hasnt really caught on but unhoused is the preferred term now. Im sure your life must be ruined now.

I mean besides the fact that I don't know whats wrong with the word "homeless" in the first place, unhoused seems worse? I take that either as it referring to a person who is without a home by choice, or that you're referring to them as how you would a loose dog.

The comment section of this podcast is absolutely the best place to look for answers to your passive aggressive PC complaints

I dont know for sure but I imagine homeless now has a an insulting conotation. For instance the r word was once the technical term. Dbags ruined it and now its an insult.

You're not wrong. This podcast is literally the only time I've ever heard this term before so I wouldn't really have anywhere else to ask about it.

Hey, everyone. Bing search "Elizabeth Shue muscles." Holy shit.

Unsolicited potentially boring story time: As someone who entered Beirut with an expired American passport as a child (don’t ask), I can assure you that going to an American embassy and saying “I’m an American” does fuck all lol. One of the more traumatic 3-4 hour experiences of my life, basically was grilled like a suspect and asked questions a 12 year old couldn’t possibly know

You shit the bed on Boba Fett. Also not giving me a bigger part in Sin City 2.

Unhoused is a term that is more prevalent in California and the West Coast. Many advocates have shifted terms specifically for what Mozely just said. Homeless carries a lot of baggage and a lot of it is negative. Trying to shift the conversation to be more compassionate. Ultimately it of course comes down to the individual extending a base dignity and respect to anyone and everyone in our given communities but it has been shown that language does matter. So you're still allowed to say homeless or whatever but in LA at least, it's pretty common to use the term unhoused. Or at the very least describe someone as experiencing homelessness vs just "they're homeless."

I couldn’t finish this one, just like when it came out. “Ow my heart” did me in.
