In a really strange coincidence, we also had a fat bearded guy on local public access tv. Our guy dressed in a Batman mask that had neon stripes. He called himself the Bat-Poet and he would read his strange poetry. I would watch it for hours just bewildered. https://youtu.be/LYkPB7aKk5w

Woah this movie was wild from the jump. As much as I Iove 90s west coast rap I wasn't familiar with Deep Cover song til Snoop performed on Chappelle Show. I just read up on it and it was created for the deep cover movie. It also came out before The Chronic and was the real debut of Snoop. Wasn't on anyone's album so I was late to it. Also, did Fishbourne have a police walkie talkie on him the whole time he was undercover? Love how he just pulls it out at the end to call for back up.
