I live and work in rural Washington state. I am surrounded by crazy, MAGA people all day. The woman I work with closest is anti vaccination, watches newsmax and is proud of her 9 year old for chanting let’s go Brandon at school. It’s hard to be a progressive dude in a MAGA world….

Hands down best movie about endurance stuff and would also be up Rodgers’ alley would be Where Dreams Go To Die about the Barkley Marathons. Hardest endurance event on earth that civilians can do, outside of maybe GoRuck Selection.

Damn, as the extremely hairy guy in HS gym class with an unusual name I fear that random guys may remember me too lol. Also, very good episode as a car buff. Mark me down as someone else that would pay to hear a Rodgers F1 pod.

Is this a new doc? I saw this one a few years ago, good stuff https://barkleymovie.com/

No that is a different one. This one is on YouTube about Gary Robbins

Gave “See” a shot (after dismissing it as ridiculous) and I love it. $8 well spent

I've been binging it the last few days. First season is amazing if you can suspend your disbelief. 2nd season adds way more settlements to cut between and so much court intrigue / streaming drama bloat. It feels much more like a generic fantasy show where everyone carries around a staff now.

I think Ben would appreciate this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psSNFY-yVC8

Two things about hands on a hardbody. 1) it was produced my j.k. Livin meaning this was one of the two movies mcconaughey produced. 2) This was adapted to a HIGHSCHOOL musical: https://youtu.be/IMHMOs7r2bo

Great episode, great doc.

I would say bigs backyard ultra is closer to the hardbody contest as it keeps going until all but one remains https://deadspin.com/ultrarunner-courtney-dauwalter-takes-on-the-worlds-most-1830136537

Speaking of tats - My buddy has the New Jersey outline in his armpit. Incredibly painful and he had to shave, but he still says it was totally worth it.

That's too bad but not surprising. I just finished the first season and it felt a little bit like "how long can you really keep this up". With more and more sighted characters the premise starts to get pretty flimsy... but I'll look at 4K scenery all day.

Never heard of Hands on a Hardbody and I’ll have to check it out. I did appreciate that the boyz did feel bad for the contestants during this viewing. Poverty exploitation contests have been around forever. Look up depression era dance marathons if you want to be sad.

I thought Kirstie Alley's love interest on Cheers was played by Kyle McLaughlin too. It turns out there is an actor names Roger Rees who looked EXACTLY like him.

Re: Texas winning us ww2. My brother in law just graduated from the army and my wife and went to the ceremony this spring. I shit you not 100% of the outstanding performers and best shot winners were from Texas.
