My mom would definitely think less of me if I were to listen to an episode with her.

So glad I rewatched this movie, loved it as a kid and it holds up, I maybe even like it better now.

I thought Slow Getting Up was a good book about playing pro football.

An interesting moment from my childhood was explaining to my mom why I wanted to see a movie called "The Naked Gun" when I was ten years old.

Chabnormal

Gabrus brought up his fondness for Ethan Hawke. Check out 'Predestination'. It's the best movie about being your own mom and son I've ever seen.

Did Gabrus post the photo of Big Jon anywhere?

Card Counter was TRASH. From the director of THE CANYONS, not the director of FIRST REFORMED

When they Boyz are talking about The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad, and are just fanboying out, it is everything I wanted. I watched this last weekend with my fiancée and her 13 y/o daughter and they chuckled MAYBE a masculine of times. I’ve seen dozens of times, and I’m laughing like a crazy person. This movie works as well as it does because the main core are dramatic actors doing comedy, but ALL playing straight. That’s an incredible thing missing in most comedies these days- they’re too self-aware and not earnest enough.

I’ve only enjoyed two Neil Gaiman books, one being the children/YA book The Graveyard Book, and the other his take on Marvel’s The Eternals with John Romona Jr.

I laughed so hard at this podcast that I already want to listen to it again. Pure joy. Thank you!
