As someone who has a huge crush on both Asia Carrera and Tia Carrera I found that cold open very nice. Just a weird note from the sauna: my brother was doing some stunt flying/driving on a movie Tia was in and she convinced my brother to get hair transplant surgery after he mentioned it in passing. Quite frankly either person could convince me to do anything. Also, my brother's ass hair on his head doesn't look too bad. Thanks as always Action Boyz.

PSA: Tampons do not work for bullet holes, they aren’t sterile, don’t expand like you would expect and the cotton lining shit gets stuck to the inside of wounds and complicates debridement and healing. Much better off dumping a root beer float in there….

Abuse story - 13 years ago I went to Mexico City to meet my girlfriends parents. They lived in a really nice place. Like. 1 floor in an apartment building. You could hear everything. Anyway, 2 nights in her parents get into an argument and mom slugs dad. She was 2” taller, in good shape. He had a fat lip and spent rest of my time there on couch. I was relocated to brothers room.

Anyone else think joey wasn’t fully with Frank? I thought Joey was sort of a middle man like Stanger said because when Larry talks to him at the movie theater he says Frank has to pay for Joey’s cut so it would seem like he gets a commission from other gangs on successful deals he sets up? Also I did not look this up to verify but pretty sure their drug den where the cops raid is now a Time Out Experience in dumbo- like an overpriced “high end” food court. Or it’s a west elm I think. Curious if the boys think Criterion Channel has put movies like this and The Long Googbye more on peoples radar. Their new New York Stories collection is amazing. Has this, Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 and some other great New York movies.

I’m happy they mentioned Frank’s towncar. I found it, and really every 80s big body on frame American car in the movie, to be so compelling. Even watching b-roll of 80s NYC traffic looks cinematic imo.

Ferrara wasn’t really slumming it with Body Snatchers (1993) so much as he was going back to his roots. His first feature after directing porn was Driller Killer, a low budget slasher movie. Body Snatchers was reviewed well and competed at Cannes.
