SALVADOR this week friends. Witness one of the Hollywood good guys, James Woods, basically play himself - a manipulative, weasely, perverted piece of shit scumbag. Really, the only difference between Woods and Richard Boyle is Woods has never been through an intense experience that forever changed him and led him to stop being a fucking pig and do something for the greater good. Hope you are enjoying PhotoJournalistember!

Hell yeah

The story for Crocodile Dundee 2 is nuts compared to the first ones straight forward rom-com fish out of water. It’s about Sues ex who also is a photo journalist! capturing a drug dealer killing people on film and mailing it to her and Dundee before he dies. And would be a great action boyz pick

This movie reminded me of the book The Quiet American, which sadly never got a good adaptation, just a couple of weird ones.

Not a watermelon fan.

Trivia: In order to prepare for their roles in this film, both James Woods and Jim Belushi lived for years as shiftless lying scumbags with substance abuse problems. 0 out of 4900 found this interesting

Whenever I eat watermelon I end up thinking to myself why am I even eating this. It's impossible not to for some reason.

I am 26 and have been listening to ABZ since its inception and the boyz are very spot on in assuming that the average person in my age demographic does not understand 99% of the references from the ABZ universe. My problem is the ABZ bits and movies I love are constantly on my mind and I will pull our references to Seagal, Arnold, Charles Bronson, and Clint Eastwood to dead silence. It’s especially excruciating around girls. I have one other friend who is on the same wavelength and most group outings end up with me and him cracking ourselves up doing robocop impressions at the end of the bar while the rest of the group looks at us like we’re insane.

Sorry Rodgers but it isn't possible to drive from North America to South America as there is no road connecting Panama and Colombia through the Darién Gap. You might want to edit that out and reupload the ep.

Lots of good adaptations of the Ugly American though…

This week on Gabrus's S.O.F. Magazine: Do you like movies about groups of misogynistic, poorly-informed, white American men habitually exploiting indigenous people of color in order to further their media careers... how about a podcast where a group misogynistic, poorly informed, white, American men review a movie about exploiting indigenous people of color just to further their media careers?

Also… What kind of life did Maria have, odd she changed her name to Anna when we catch up with her later during that Alien attack. Screw the Salvadoran civil war, she couldn’t tell Boyle about how all their cattle were being killed during the hottest months by translucent appearing aliens?? Total let down…

I wasn’t a big fan of The Ringer’s Woodstock ‘99 HBO documentary either.

Do people with iron deficiency live longer or have less chance of Alzheimer's

I doubt many listeners care about poetry, but I was reminded of The Colonel by Carolyn Forche, who actually went to El Salvadore during this time with this fascinating figure, Leonel Gomez Vides. It's a good poem (and short)!
