Oh is Rodgers’ dad on this one?

Chabnormal

Ford made a SHO. It was the performance version of the Taurus.

When I looked up the movie afterward, everything I saw threw in a mention of it being the "near future," which really threw me. What about this movie necessitated that detail? The futuristic bulletproof jackets that the five Steven Seagals piled out of their car with?

So much Bon Jovi in this movie and it had me cracking up every time

Between that one The Heights song they mentioned on Shadow Wolves and the Bon Jovi track on this one, the Action Boyz are really reminding me just how shitty 10-year old Me's taste in music was.

In the original Anchor Bay DVD release of Repo Man, Alex Cox mentions the name of guy who installed the mirrors in John Wayne’s place! The name is censored on all subsequent reissues. Yes, I have listened to the commentary on 3 different discs.

The Gabrus cup of jizz on Shadow Boyz is totally stoned

With regards to Don Johnson being a stud with awful taste, I point to Nash Bridges. He went out of his way to make it the opposite of Miami Vice, and boy, mission accomplished

Couldn't resist taking a look at what the deadbeat dads on Amazon think of this one. Here are a few favorites: 1) Got this for a shut-in older man who requested it for Christmas. He reports that he is thrilled with the film's action sequences, has grown fond of the cast, and watches it two or three times a week at this point in order to keep his spirits up. Sounds so exciting that I intend to purchase a copy for myself. 2) This is exactly what I prefer to watch. I like the action and violence. There is plenty of shooting. There is plenty of hand-to-hand punching, kicking and stabbing. There is explosions. There is plenty of pursuits. I appreciate Amazon Prime Video recommending this in email. 3) I have bought this dvd 4 different times for my son. He loved it. He watched the first one so much we had to replace it. He watched the second one so much his wife broke it! So i got him another one after she divorced him , and someone took it. He was killed in an accident , so my grandson ask for it. So this one is for him.

This movie is like a trailer park version of The Blues Brothers. Way better soundtrack though.

A perfectly debasing, foul, & low experience begins at about 1 hour 8 minutes

Jon Smith

Listening to the Coen brothers audiobook and there's a part about what characters in Lebowski are based on, makes perfect sense but never thought about it. Like Jeffrey Lebowski is based on Dick Cheney and Walter Sobchak is based on Mee Lee Yose

It took me about an hour of watching this movie to realize it wasn’t a deliberate satire but more of an incidental one

FiddlersGreenDay

Really not here for this Bon Jovi hate.

Irvin

I love me a pang-guin.

Dead or Alive is one of those songs that I used to play for a laugh with friends, then sing along as a joke, and one horrible day realised I was playing purely for pleasure. Essentially the song equivalent of Jennifer Connelly hugging the bag of coke after “ass to ass” in Requiem For A Dream.

Do Beastmaster 3 complete the trilogy

Hammerthrust Von Sexron

I saw the Vanessa Williams mag on the bus ride to sleep way camp in 1993 I wanna say.

The whole thing about Big John Stud being Jack Daniels does make sense, Jack is a nickname for John. It's basically dead now, Boomers are the last generation to stick to it but like Jack Nicholson's name is not Jack, it's John. JFK, all his friends called him Jack, very irish/catholic obviously .. please create a tier where Actionboyz come murder me in my sleep

My dad explained the whole pulling vs squeezing the trigger thing to me when I was a kid. Dad was a Marine, and fought in the Pacific during WWII. At basic training, they taught them to squeeze the trigger. You squeeze with your whole hand to get better control over the rifle. When they practiced, they would grab an orange from the mess and squeeze the orange in between shots.

Bon Jovi also one of the many terrible musical artists that Stern can’t get enough of ..and Bon Jovi’s friends with Robert Kraft and Bill Belicheck that wouldn’t fly in Buffalo.. wait didn’t Stanger have a tryout with the Bills?

Not only Catholic Irish, Protestants too, but bang on with the Boomer generation being the last.

Jason E Becker

Thom the Chopper pilot played by Robert Ginty, star of truly vile Death Wish clone, Exterminator and White Fire, where he plays a character who fucks a woman who is identical to his dead twin sister.

It turns out there's, like, 10 people on IMDB with the last name Valverde, and a lot of their work falls into the Action Boyz timeframe. I think Lawnmower Man is a lock for Octooky, but I'd love to see a general Valverduary.

Jesus christ. Is this going to be known as the "Bon Jovi" episode? The janitors have lost their goddamn minds.

New way I ended a short relationship: played abz for the girl while I was fixing a flat tire

Breathing rhythm is a big basic training teaching point as well. I would’ve been all in on Marlboro mansplaining that to Harley. Worst case scenario it adds 15 seconds to the final cut.

I'm a shit person. I liked the opening to this movie 😭

So why was it called the Rock and Roll Bar and Grille?

Don Johnson incredibly underrated talent. His performance in Dead Bang is 5 starz.

Hey buddy, I know this is late but Jon mentiones Dude Where's My Car and the naked smokeshow from the beginning is one of the alien babes from that movie, buddy.
