The movie this week is the fucking gem, SILENT RAGE. This film checks literally every ABZ box, this is why you listen to this goddamn podcast! Did this movie inspire every single other movie after it?? Enjoy Norris’s old/young ass doing karate out in the Texas dust- fighting bikers, a superhuman killer, and the presence of any emotion that could be captured on film. It's taken a while, but the cut to Charlie excitedly telling dispatch about the biker chick whipping out her tits instead of calling for backup was finally an intentional joke that made me laugh in all the Chuck movies Action Boyz has made me watch. This was super weird and definitely felt like two different movies getting awkwardly smushed together, but I liked it a lot.

The thing about Altamont is the Stones have their own security, they didn't hire the Hells Angels. Stones come in from the UK to play the show, they get out there and The Grateful Dead(who organized the show and chickened out of playing) had payed the Hells Angels in drugs or whatever to work the show. They were already there and already drunk and high. Stones security did what they could mainly keeping the band safe from the Angels.. so anyway, blame the Dead

Maybe it was the combination of the ending and him being so wet in general, but Kirby gave me really strong Jason vibes, especially Part II. The way he manhandled people and tossed them around; was just missing using a dead body to break into a window.

Re: netflix, my dad just got into Netflix within the year and he keeps talking about Peaky Blinders to me like it’s God’s gift to earth. I cannot get him to watch the sopranos, boardwalk empire, the wire, etc., because I think the idea of trying to set up an HBO MAX account would just be way too much to handle
