Don’t really pay attention to the comments here usually, and I’m late to this - but is everyone really cool with the movie releases on HBO Max? I’m on the Boyz side on this one. Seems like it’ll kill theaters, fuck over workers, and make more content the same quality as Netflix (that is, mostly garbage)

Looking forward to Under Siege 2, but I'm still bummed Gwildor lost the "Travis Dane" role to Eric Bogosian. Word is Gwil couldn't control his gill slits during the missing disc freak out scene.

Not convinced that the Action Boyz have a beer expert. Any real beer guy would tell them that most craft breweries are making pilsners these days. Disappointed.

Gonna point this out because no one else has, Bishop's story of being sent to the police station with a note from his father is basically word for word a story Alfred Hitchcock would tell about his youth. According to Hitchcock, he was placed in a jail cell and it was what inspired his obsession with mistaken identity narratives. I'd be surprised if this wasn't a conscious lift by Carpenter.
