September 2023 Update- (Patreon)

Hey all, time for the September update!

For this month, we can finally show off some of the background artwork we have coming in!
They are currently in the layout phase, so they haven't quite yet been colored, but we figured showing off some WIPs would be nice to show off since we've mostly shown the animation so far!

Much like the previous video, a lot of it features a very beat up Kingsmen's Mechanics.  That's not to say it's the only thing featured in THIS video but the more... unique backgrounds we have cooking are DEFINATELLY in the *SPOILER* category.

Beyond that, progress continues per usual.  A lot of rough animation is getting completed for the epilogue actually, so that section of the video is actually getting pretty close to getting all of its rough animation turned in!  And with background layouts coming online, we'll finally be able to get some work that's been missing in the main section of the video as we needed the BGs to properly plant the characters in place.

I was recently asked about some color reference for the Live version of Lewis.  I think we had automatically assumed we must have posted that a while back, but sure enough I don't think we actually publicly showed off a turn around for Live Lewis.  To rectify that, we've put up both Live Lewis and Kitsune Mystery turn arounds!  

Mystery Skulls News

So I actually literally just learned about this TODAY but it turns out Mystery Skulls is going to be joining in a concert with The Living Tombstone and Qbomb!  That's one HELL of a line up, no way that show doesn't turn out amazing.

I would... like to post a link to have somewhere where you could potentially get tickets but uh... I think the show sold out super fast...  The Living Tombstone seems to be adding additional shows, so in the event THOSE haven't sold out, you can check out the tweet I saw for it here??

The poster for the show is, in of itself, amazing to behold.

October and November are going to be pretty intense months for us, so progress might be a bit more on the sluggish side coming up.  I think I have a small, silly video idea to put out for October, but beyond that news may be a bit dry for a little bit.  I'll see if I can also stream a more spooky focused game, in the Halloween spirit of things!
