April 2023 Update- (Patreon)

Hey all, now that I am back from Japan, it is time for the April Update!

Obviously the big thing to go over is the release of the Deadbeat Plush from Makeship!

It's only been a few days, but the plush campaign has already reached enough sales to be guaranteed to be produced!  Thank you to everyone who has picked up one already!  There are still 18 days left in the campaign (as of writing this), so if you want to pick one up it still has a good chunk of time left to pick one up.

About the video itself-

So yeah, while I was visiting Japan, I did some video taking while I was over there!  The trip was a really great experience with the family with a ton of beautiful scenery.  We were fortunate to go during Cherry Blossom season, so the Deadbeat got to blend in with the foliage.  We were in the city Matsuyama, so the castle you see in the video is the one there.  Due to Makeship wanting to have the promotional video around 2 minutes there is a decent amount of footage I didn't get around to showing, so I may try to show the rest of that off on Patreon over time.

It's been some time since I've done video editing like that, and I had to do it relatively quickly, so I was a bit anxious about how it'd turn out.  I've never really taken video like that before on phone so thankfully the footage I took was... mostly fine.  That castle shot in particular was pretty botched on my end and I had to make it way less shaky than it turned out.  I also had to make sure my hands were never actually visible as I held that plush up, so if you noticed any of the shots being a bit more zoomed in than normal, that'd probably be why.

While I am at the Makeship plush side of things, I wanted to also give a shout out to Zeurel who just got Episode 2 of Monkey Wrench released this week!
