Miles patiently, or mindlessly it seems, sits in front of the dresser with his knees against his chest. It's as if he's trying to fit in the tiniest box while being in a room as large as a whole loft. The clock ticks 20:00, just in time for the door to open and Master Farlan comes in with heavy sighs.

"Ahh, those bastards," he curses while untying the top of his hair, letting long blonde strands fall on his face after along day of work. "Americans are not to be trusted. Running away with my money... I'll chop them up and feed them to homeless people."

Miles chuckles, still void of humor as he looks at Farlan without energy at all. "I'm American."

Farlan wholeheartedly laughs at that, approaching Miles and putting his hands on either side of the chair. Now both of them are staring at each other through the mirror. "Well, you are my special American. Run away with my money, and I'll probably give you double what you stole."

Is he serious? Miles almost genuinely laughed at that, but he is unable to. He is too sad, mind too occupied with the thoughts of earlier.

"You seem sad, Lisichka. Are you bored here? Uncomfortable with your bodyguards?"

Miles suddenly has an idea. He'd be taking advantage of Farlan, but it's mutual exploitation. "Yes, I'm very bored."

"Hmm. I'd certainly let you go outside... but, we haven't captured the Llorona assassin who tried to eliminate me a month ago," Farlan says, all while softly touching Miles's jaw and neck. His hands are both smooth from paperwork and coarse from handling guns.

"Llorona?"

"Spanish Mafia, you've heard of that, yes?"

So I still can't go outside, what a scam. Miles sighs heavily, his eyes looking straight at the Master as if he was a child denied of playtime. He then grabs onto the hand that's caressing his neck, thumb rubbing onto Farlan's palm. Miles has nothing to lose if he pouts a little bit, so he keeps playing the game.

"But Farlan... I want something cute to accompany me while you're away at work. Can I have some cute stuffed dinosaurs?"

"Stuffed dinosaurs?" The strange request made the man chuckle. "How cute. Alright then, I'll order special ones for you."

the next day,

Miles couldn't be luckier; landing an owner that leaves very early in the morning, also leaving with a gentle kiss on the shoulder. He said he'll get me the stuffies too... Ahhh, Jihun... I hope you're still the same...

Suddenly, the door rudely bursts open while Miles was lazing in bed trying to bask in the sunlight from the window. "Yo, Tsarina! Get your áss up!"

This rude child... Miles sighs, ... didn't change at all.

Sitting up, a naked Miles glares at his grumpy bodyguard whose gun is too visible on his hip. Yet he looked cool; red silky button up shirt with a black blazer around his shoulders. Misha scoffs to make fun of him, "No wonder the Master was in a good mood."

Miles was still a little mad at him, so he couldn't care less if Misha witnesses multiple love bites on his neck and collar. Maybe then he'll realize what he has allowed to happen when he regains his memory back. Maybe he'll kill me too... but I'm not the old Miles who's always scared of getting killed by Satan.

"I'm bored," Miles groans while wrapping the duvet around himself so he can get to the bathroom without Misha, or any of the gangsters seeing more of him. "Take me somewhere fun, will you?"

And so, because of the little Mistress' request, Misha brought him to the Mafia's playground; aka the basement where there are gangsters with terrifying gold veneers and face tats lounge comfortably while idle. Miles, who is in a red turtle neck and black coat, looks too out of place in an area full of leather, steel knives, and porn magazines.

Misha had brought him here to purposely scare him. The gangsters won't hurt him, but maybe the severed animal heads on the wall, displays of guns and knives, as well as aggressive men playing poker to the point of beating each other bloody will ease Miles' boredom.

"Welcome to where we have fun," Misha announces to the awkwardly standing Miles, then waves to a giant man who was glaring at them, holding his pet mice. "Richt, hello my friend! Greet our Miles over here!"

"Hello," the intimidating man loudly says in Russian, but Miles couldn't understand and initially thought the big man cursed at him, so he steps back a little bit.

This satisfied Misha a little bit, but one of his men raised an eyebrow at him for messing with the Mistress. The leader laughs and slapped a hand on him. "What, it's funny. He's like a [little pússy], he won't last long here."

Miles definitely feels uncomfortable around these men, although the man who spoke to him just stayed still and pets his little mice, he still looks scary. However, Miles spots a room with an English label, marked Shooting Range, Caution.

"O... oh... this'll be fun, right?" Miles says with his head held high, refusing to show Misha that he is affected by the big burly men in this basement. Nobody can hurt him, but he is still very uncomfortable with how some men look at him in a lustful way. My Taewon would knock their teeth out, but what I have here is Dory the fish.

"Tch, can't handle our family?" Misha mocks him, a cigarette between his lips.

"Of course I can, they are very nice! I just want to try shooting," Miles persists and hurries to the door where Misha follows while rolling his eyes. His men however, were caught up in the poker and mahjong games of the other gangsters and stayed behind.

Misha comes in to see Miles staring at the weapon rack with genuine interest. He stares at the man from head to toe, wondering what made Farlan attracted to him. 5'10... curly hair... is it the long legs? Or is it because he's lean? He's not even that good looking.

Yet when Farlan talks about how beautiful he is, Misha can't understand.

Miles walks up to a booth with training dummies up ahead, his lack of equipment like noise-cancelling headphones and protective gloves making Misha scoff. "Hey Tsarina, you're gonna blow your ears out. You don't even know what you're doing, huh?"

"What if I do?"

"Tch, I doubt it," Misha walks towards him, "With those lanky arms, I doubt you're strong enough to pull the trigg-"

Bang!

Misha looks at the dummy, who was hit in the outer circle. Then he looks back at Miles, who didn't seem to flinch that much. "Hmm. Not too bad. You're used to it?"

"Very much. I'm not a helpless damsel, Misha," Miles mutters while shooting again, but missing the target.

Misha however, feels even more curious about this man. He exhales a slow smoke out of his cigarette, "Why, though?"

"Huh?" Bang!

Out of topic Misha asks, "Why did you defend me from the Master, when all I did was treat you bad?"

Bang! Missed the target. Miles' sight is a little blurry. "Don't compare me to you, gangsters. I don't like revenge."

I am over revenge, Miles recalls his past life where he defeated a monster, without revenge. And I want to protect you.

"Hmm, you're one weird bítch," Misha says. And although Miles cannot understand the last word, he is aware it might've not been good. But of course, Misha is not one to like peace. He comes in and initiates a war. "Maybe you're too nice to get revenge, huh? Too nice, can't even kill a fake shooting dummy."

Bang! Another miss. "Are you trying to get me mad? What do you accomplish with that, Misha?" Everytime Miles says his Russian name, he always pauses a little before it. It's like Heidi or Taewon will jump out of his lips Everytime.

"You kinda look sexy mad," Misha responds, smirking pervertedly. He was about to smoke, but not before saying, "Maybe the Master forces himself on you, because you look prettier if you look like you're getting r--"

BANG! Suddenly, Misha's cigarette disappeared between his two fingers. He felt a whisk of air against his neck, and the hairs there floated in alert as well.

"Oh. I missed again," Miles coldly says, not displaying any emotion because he doesn't want to give Misha the satisfaction of seeing him mad.

"Wha-..." First, the gang leader was frozen in shock. Then, highly offended. But upon looking at Miles who has a gun pointed straight at him, he doesn't know what to feel anymore.

"H..." Miles refuses to get affected by his own emotions. They're alone, it's time he seduce the psychopath in front of him. "Misha. Let's play a game."

"Game?" Instead of feeling offended at the threat, Misha became confused instead.

"Yes," Miles slowly walks towards him, taking note of how Misha's hands are also near his belt where his gun is inserted. "I'm bored, aren't I? Do you still like games?"

"I never liked games," Once Miles' gun neared Misha's chest, he pulled out his own and pointed it towards the Mistress.

Oh. But Miles was never threatened. Only hurt,  because Misha doesn't share the same interest as his Taewon. Instead, he steps closer until their guns touches each other's chest.

"What are you playing at, Tsarina? Has Farlan'd sperm gotten up your brain?" Misha mutters. He wouldn't shoot me, right? After defending me from the Master... he wouldn't kill me himself, with my men outside, right?

Still, Miles was an enigma. He doesn't know this man, so his motives are unclear.

"I'm just bored, I want to play," Miles says, before dropping the gun and putting his hands up. "Let's fight?"

"You want me to beat you up?" Misha glares at him, but his condescending smirk is challenging. "The Master will kill me, you're setting me up."

"No, he wouldn't. Just don't leave visible marks," Miles shrugs, but then puts his hands on Misha's arm, which is displaying the gun. Miles smiles, manipulating a confused Misha's arm to place the gun on his chest. "Or are you too much of a pússy to hit a man your size?"

"My size? You look like a high schooler," Misha pulls his arm away to tuck the gun back in.

"Aww, is Misha scared of me?" Miles taunts.

"No, the fúck? You shut up."

"Why don't you shove your díck up my mouth buuuut.... it'd be too small to shut me up, won't it?"

Misha suddenly turns red, visibly mad at this condescending little whóre that thinks he's so high and mighty just because he's protected by the Master.

"Come on, I won't tell the Master," Miles rolls his eyes, "He won't find out since your dainty hands can't even reach me in the first place."

Misha growls, "Fine. But don't worry, I'll hold back for you..."

Miles' collar was suddenly grabbed and he was pulled, Misha throwing a punch towards his gut. However, Miles caught that fist and swung his feet up to kick the gangster's knee. Now caught off guard, Misha was pushed away.

"Don't hold back now, I'm not a girl," Miles takes off his coat, challenging Misha even more. "And even if I was a girl or a manly man, you'd still fight like a pússy."

Misha smirks in amusement, "Fine, I won't hold back. Shutting you up is worth the Master's punishment."

With that, Misha swung a fist at him; but Miles dodged. Misha kicked, and the Mistress dodged and pushed him away.

"This is what the Schliemann has to offer? I thought you were the best."

"Well, I am not allowed to kill you!" Misha yells as he attacks Miles who seems to only dodge each and every one of his punches.

"I'm not trying to kill you too, but here I am beating you," Miles chuckles, his boredom lifted and he genuinely smiles at Misha. Miles had blocked one of his attacks again, in a way that their distance is now erased and they're facing each other quite intimately.

Miles looks harmless. In fact, he looks pathetically innocent especially in the eyes. But how come the Schliemann Master's second hand was unable to land a punch on him? Misha was starting to get breathless as well.

This whóre is tougher than I thought... Misha successfully landed a hit on Miles' ankles and got him to fall down, but Miles held onto the gangster's arm and grabs his own gun from the ground, smacking the handle onto Misha's knees and making them fall together.

There, Miles rolls on top of Misha where he straddles and points a gun to his jaw. The former was fully smiling while the gangster looks mad at fúck. "See, I told you. You can't land a punch on me. You won't be in trouble with the Master."

Fine then, Misha no longer held back and caught Miles off guard when he pushed the gun above his head, stretching Miles' arm; before he flips their position with the gangster now on top. There, Misha grabs the other arm and pin them above Miles' head, retrieving the gun and threatening Miles with it.

"Don't fúcking get cocky and mess with me. I am still a Schliemann. You can never match up with me. You're still nothing but a slút."

Instead of feeling defeated, Miles confuses the gangster even more with his happy smile. A cute, genuine smile of happiness where small chuckles escapes his lips. Then, with fluent and clean Korean, Miles breathes out, "Yes Taewon... I am nothing but your slút..."

Miles' words has taken off Misha's attention enough for him to pull one of his wrist out of Misha's hold, before fearlessly pulling the almighty gang leader down by the collar and pressing their lips together.

Just like old times... do you remember, Heidi? Taewon...?

He tastes like mint cigarettes this time, while Miles tastes like the strawberries he ate for breakfast earlier. Misha didn't know what to do, his brain fully malfunctioned; why was Miles kissing him? Doesn't he belong to the Master?

Or maybe, The answer was clear. The gun was snatched off Misha's hold and pressed into his temple. Miles pulls away with a playful and satisfying smile, knowing that he rendered his cold-hearted opponent frozen and unable to process anything. The look in Miles’ eyes, half lidded and confident, were enticing—seductive even. His curls frame his face in a way that intimidated Misha, unable to take his eyes off the Mistress.

"I win," Miles Taylor whispers, declaring the game over, and getting his prize on the way; which is a kiss from his former lover.

If this path was chosen, these would have changed the story’s route:

(Spoiler Free because this will not be canon)

-Miles would work extra hard to give Vanya the Dinosaur, because Misha would not let him talk to his brother after this. Instead of Vanya being the catalyst to their relationship, it would be Misha.

-Misha would fantasize about Miles more, and develop feelings before his brother.

-Would feel jealousy towards Vanya if Miles does get close to him.

-There would be a scene in the future where they would fight over him by means of séx (this would be their first intercourse).

-Miles would be the one to fix their relationship by suggesting they get together; the brothers would not be as close as they were last book because Misha would be very possessive.

Because you chose the other route, these future scenarious will be different.
