Chapter 46

Evangeline was on her way to Josh´s place. About to get a dose of adoration.

This has come to be an issue, if she might admit it. She thought that, by growing taller, and sexier, more and more men would be lured by her. Attracted, entranced into her sensuous body. But the thing is, even if more men stare, less men seem to come up to her.

Was she too tall? Was she too sexy? Intimidating? She never thought something like this would happen so fast. And she´s not even so freakishly tall, she stands at 6´9”. But, maybe for mere mortals, that´s too tall…

Height seems to be quite an issue for most men. It seems Larry wasn´t lying when he stated that men don´t often date taller women. So far, there´s been no luck. And the bad thing is, now, her only hope is to go over and meet the same guy she has already met.

Josh seems like a safe-play. Which got her thinking, is she really heading to his place just for… security?

Only because it´s clear he won´t reject her?

It seems Evangeline has met another side of the human nature. Insecurity. And now, she´s surrounding herself with people who praise her, and not with people who reject her. The main thing is, Josh seems to be the only man for the job.

Oh well…

But there´s a few things she must consider, how will he react when he meets her? What will be his immediate reaction when he looks up at an even taller Evangeline?

Josh was excited. He rushed to his place. This was something he´s always dreamt about. A woman, calling him for a date!

An actual woman wanting to meet him at his place? Was he dreaming? And it wasn´t just any woman, no, this was a pretty lady! And on top of that, she was an amazon!

Josh is certainly into taller women. Height´s not an issue, but if they are taller, well… he can´t help but to feel a certain desire for them. A crush. Feelings, sweet, tender, and maybe horny, feelings.

“Ok, she´ll be here in any minute. Just relax, Josh, just relax…” he told to himself as he waited. Making sure the place was clean, that things were organized.

He wondered about a couple other things. Should he have bought some drinks? Maybe a snack? Will she be hungry? And there´s when a few other things, size based, came to him.

Will she eat too much? Was a full plate like a snack to her? How about a drink? Does she need more than a glass? A full bottle of wine? Maybe? How much can she eat? How much can she drink? Should he get a whole cake? Steak? Shrimp? Perhaps, a full bowl of fruit?

He had a lot in mind, but soon, his guest arrived. Which gave him no time to prepare anything.

His place was clean, there should be nothing to worry. Although… there might be something new for him to see…

Someone knocked at his apartment door. And he was sure who this was.

“Coming!” He said, with a huge smile on his face. He knew who this was, none other than Evangeline…

Josh could already picture her pretty face. He could almost see her dreamy eyes. Their gorgeous shine. He could see her smooth, delicate hairs. The softness of her skin.

He was visualizing himself, looking way up at her. A woman, with the body of a goddess. A long, elegant figure, and yet, holding curves that would make any man quiver. Melt.

He got to the door, reached for the knob, turned it and then, he opened.

“Welcome!” He said. Smiling, and meeting her angelical face.

Evangeline was such a gorgeous woman. However, there was something else…

Meeting someone you know is aways pleasant. And meeting someone you like, that´s much better. However, there´s a few things you can realize, for instance, a new haircut. A new shirt, earrings, jewelry. But, there´s also a few other things.

Things more physical. Such as, for instance, weight gain. Weight loss. Muscle growth. And, there´s one in particular a man like Josh wouldn´t miss. Height.

As he stood in front of Evangeline, he couldn´t help but to wonder something. Was she taller?

His immediate thought was that she was wearing heels. Sure, the already tall lady wanting to be taller, no one could blame her. But then, out of curiosity, he turned down, just to peek at the heels she was wearing. It would be a nice compliment to say something nice about her shoes.

The thing is, when he turned down, he spotted no heels. Evangeline wasn´t standing over any heels. She was there, on plain shoes. With the least heel there is. And it got him thinking…

“Was the this tall?” How could he miss something like that? “No. No way… is there something in the floor?” Were their grounds uneven? Absolutely not.

Then, what was happening?

Josh was concerned. He was smiling, but a smile can only hide some much. He was awfully quiet.

Evangeline didn´t take more than a few seconds to realize what was on his mind. He caught her. The question is, what should she say?

Lie about it? Deny she grew taller? No. This would only work once, and if she´s going to hang around Josh, then he´ll notice further growth spurts.

She must be true to him, he´s a kind man, he´ll understand. The question was, what to say? Admit she´s stealing someone else´s height? No way, he might freak out. Worried he might be the next one.

Perhaps, she should twist the truth a little. Admit she´s grown, but not reveal the true reason. Like disguising a lie, but it´ll be more like readjusting it so that things are easier for him to handle.

“Hi…” she greeted, smiling and waving a bit.

But Josh was confused. He waved back, but he had some questions. Was she actually taller or was this his imagination?

“I think you might be wondering about… my height.” Wondering? His mind was seconds away from burning up. “So, I´ve got a small confession…” and here it goes, the “truth”.

“Wait!” Josh started, “So you´re… still growing? Like, this is a late growth spurt?” Her explanation was that she was still having a certain growth.

“I know, it´s not common for a woman in her… late twenties.” She had to lie, she´s much older than that, but she looks like 25 so… late twenties it is. For his sake, of course.

“Wow…” he said. Both of them were now at the couch. It would be easier to share this while they were both sitting. It seemed as if he would’ve fallen back so, this was safer.

“Are you upset?” She asked, was this something bad? Was he going to reject her too? Who would´ve thought she´d be dependent on attention…

“What? Upset? No way, this is amazing! I mean, I don´t mean to disrespect, or to sound selfish or anything. But you´re getting taller? Like, wow! I mean, look at you! You´re taller and… yet, you seem… your, ehm… your body it… you just…” He found it hard to say the right words. But she can help.

“My what?” She asked, with a low tone, and then, her soft voice purred at him, sensuously, “You mean, my body looks… thicker?” He swallowed.

Was she teasing him with her expanding body? Was the 6´9” woman actually teasing him with her growth? He felt electricity all over his body.

“I feel like I´ve grown. I can´t lie. I mean, it´s kind of obvious. Just look at these boobs.” She stuck her breasts forwards, and lifted them a little, “they are bigger! Rounder, fuller. Heavier. And yet, so soft…” she drove her hands to her enormous breasts and squeezed them a little.

Josh swallowed, was it hot in here? Or was it just him?

“I know…” he replied, annoyed. Does she really have to remind him?

“Larry, I´m worried! It´s been so long, and we´ve made so much effort. What is it that gets you all stressed? Huh? Is it work? Is it the shrinking itself?” Nellie was truly worried. Her tone, the looks on her face, the look in her eyes, she was concerned.

“It´s… none of that, it´s just… bad luck. I guess…” He turned at the floor, elsewhere.

“You guess? Larry, this sounds as if you didn´t care. I thought there would be more progress after your sessions with Dr. Eva, but so far, things just seem… the same. I´m worried you might not be taking this seriously.” Larry felt that.

It stung him, right on the chest. She´s saying he doesn´t care? Well, the “therapy” was actually fake, a farse, so he doesn´t really care for that since, well, it´s inexistant. However, he does care about this.

It´s his height what she´s talking about. It´s him the one who´s on the edge. She´s saying he doesn´t care? He´s upset as to how little she actually knows about this.

The main “issue”, according to what he´s told everyone, is that stress, for some reason, shrinks him. Which isn´t true, it´s actually an angel punishing him, a divine punishment. But he can´t admit that. Although, stress might influence a few of the mistakes he´s made.

Larry´s looking up at Nellie, and he´s upset. She knows nothing. Nothing!

“You don´t know what you´re talking about…” he said, looking at her dryly to the eye.

“Excuse me?” She replied, driving her hands to her hips and frowning.

“You… you´re saying all this as if it was my fault. Don´t you think I care? Do you think I like this? This isn´t as easy as it might sound to you. I know because I am the one who´s SHRINKING!” He yelled a little at that last part.

“There´s no need to yell, you know. Besides, if you get stressed, you´ll lose size, so calm down…” Nellie didn´t want anything to happen. But it was a little too late.

“Calm down? I´m going through a lot. A LOT. And now, you´re questioning me and… and… and you want me to calm down?”

“Larry, I mean it, we don´t want you to have another… episode today. Ok? Just breathe, take a deep breath and…” she was trying to cool him down, but it wasn´t working.

“No! I… you just… you´re acting as if I was negligent towards my own situation. Towards my own health. And now, you want me to calm down?” He was upset, things were not fair, it wasn´t right. He couldn´t be the one to blame.

Although… he could. Because, stress or not, it´s his decisions the ones that cost him inches so… he should listen…

“Larry, please, just listen to me. Just calm down.” Nellie was trying her best to control him, to avoid stress, but it was a bit too late…

“No! I… can you just… stop it. I know I must be calm. But, you just make it hard!” All that tension, all that stress, he was not in a happy place right now. He was overwhelmed, and also, he felt betrayed.

“Please, just listen, just listen to my voice. I…” she wanted to apologize, but he won´t listen. And that´s not good…

“No! I don´t care! I just… I want to be alone…” He didn´t want to see her right now. But he might just regret what he´s doing.

“I… fine. I´ll go. If I need to leave you alone for a while, in order for you to calm down. I´ll leave.” And so, she did.

Larry could see as she walked away, as she made her way to the front door, as she opened it and, as she looked at him with regret and then closed the door.

She was worried, she knows she shouldn´t leave him alone, but she´s of no help right now. In fact, she´s worried she might trigger another shrinking episode.

Which was wrong, since it´s only him who can do so. And now…

“You should´ve listened… she´s just trying to help. But every time, you just push people away…” He heard Evangeline´s voice. He was alone in the room, and the only sound he could hear, the only voice, it was hers. A voice that had just sentenced him…

What was this? His fourth time? And four strikes mean… four inches.

Larry stumbled for a second, he felt off. That off, annoying feeling. And before he could even count to three, he had lost other four inches in height. Driving him down to 2´2”.

This was bad, this was awful! He was very close to being a third of his original height. A third! This has gone too far!

All the remorse he felt now. He should apologize to Nellie. But he´s sure that, as soon as she spots him, she´ll get mad. Which she won´t show since he might get stressed.

So many worries, so many implications. He hates it. He truly does!

However, as he loses those inches. There´s someone else that will find some good use to them…

Evangeline can feel her body expanding. Larger, thicker, bigger. The thing is, how will she explain Josh what is happening? He´s got his eyes closed as he´s in her embrace. He might be asleep.

The thing is, can he feel how she grows? Expanding in real time might be easy to perceive when you´re right next to someone. Easier if they were standing, but still, how hard would it be to him?

And there´s another question, will he… run away?
