Sorry for the long silence from my end. After what I can honestly call the busiest and most disappointing summer of my life, September kind of turned my life upside down.

I've been meaning to write this post for a bit, just to give people a heads up and let them know I'm not just ghosting them, but things have been kind of a rollercoaster for me this past month, and I also did not want it to turn into a rant about my personal life.

Long story short, as of about a month ago my 15+ year relationship with my significant other ended. I've been both trying to figure out how to deal with things emotionally, as well as trying to do the parent thing with our kids as they head back to school full time for the first time in over a year. 

With the kids back in school, I've had more free time, but I hope you can understand if I've had a hard time using that time for creative projects, all things considered.

I'm going to try hard to get back into working on things before I get stuck in some depressive rut, but it might be a bit before I get back in full swing of things. I'm likely going to put my short story on the back burner for a bit and I'm going to try and get back into things with some simple seasonal renders.

Also, yes, the title is a corny Walking Dead reference. It's October, so I thought it fit the season, if not the theme of the post.
