You are one of the few people who interpreted what was going on in the scene with Shizu and her friend correctly...... The most important thing right now is to remember what the Hero looked like, esp. the differences from Shizu. As to your theories: some are better than others.... I think that Shizu doesn't want her soul to be free to be reincarnated when she said she doesn't want to be absorbed by this world. Just my theory..... Just because Rimuru changes shape it doesn't eliminate his Skills and strength, or change his slime characteristics. Actually, having a human form confers certain advantages at times..... Rimuru cannot take a dragon form because Veldora is still inside the seal that Great Sage can't analyze..... You can have a memorial to someone even if they aren't buried there..... Funny you say that about Geld. It's has the same origin as gold in English. But not one person seems to know that geld has an English meaning too: to neuter a male animal, usually in reference to livestock.
