The events happen a bit differently than in the novel, for example the conversation with Sakayanagi at the end is a bit longer and actually happens after the sports festival, if I'm not mistaken, simultaneously with the conversation between Horikita, Ryuen and Kushida. Also I'm almost completely sure that Manabu didn't ask Ayanokoji to help his sister join the student council but Ayanokoji suggested it and Manabu said he didn't mind. Also the legendary tree is mentioned more, even there is already another D class student who confessed there. Even though you would read what you have already experienced in the anime I always recommend you to read the MT novel because I know it's worth it, well the COTE novel is worth it even more because of everything it omits, I'm more than sure you will enjoy it. There are two mini-stories with Ibuki that are very funny haha. Great reaction, excited to see your reaction to season 3.
