Great reaction as always! Just a note that Hohenheim actually isn't a homunculus, he's a philosopher's stone. The difference seems to be that the ritual was performed with him at the center so he became the container for all of those hundreds of thousands of souls. On the other hand, the other homunculi were all injected by Father with parts of his philosopher stone and use it as an energy source. Hope that makes sense. Also correct me if I'm wrong, but from watching some of your earlier reactions, I think you might have misconstrued Ed's personality as being super heartless and unemotional but he actually cares a lot for others and is super straightforward (although he does have a temper when someone calls him short haha). He shows a lot of emotion as you see him feel anguished on behalf of people/souls, and in an early ep, he was always afraid of Al secretly hating him for binding him to the armor. In some earlier eps I noticed you misread his words/actions because of this misconception (e.g. when they visit the 5th laboratory, he's actually very proud, not resentful that Al is stronger than him) and it's influenced how you view him now. I wasn't sure whether to comment this since I know characters are up to interpretation but I thought I might just mention it in case you've noticed that how he actually acts differs from how you originally saw him! Sorry for the spam on your comments lately but I'm always looking forward to your FMAB reactions and your theories! :)

Ohhh nahh I don't see it as spam whatsoever Miranda! In fact, I'm super grateful for your extensive comments on the FMAB episodes lately, because they help me a lot! Okay yeah Hohenheim "being" a philosopher's stone makes sense, but then the same goes for Father right? Essentially I should view them as similar entities (apart from personality and motivations of course). Hmm yeah I'm honestly not sure if I would have described Edward as heartless and unemotional. I definitely did look at him as emotionally awkward at times (relatable too lmao). But yeah I can see he's trying to do good for the world and he obvs cares for Al and Winry. I think I just saw Al as the slightly more caring and sensitive type but maybe that automatically made me sterotype Edward as cold when he isn't by any means. But thanks for letting me know it came across that way! I should rewatch my reactions to see what I exactly said haha
