Mushoku Tensei is easily in my top 5 anime I've seen so far and I can't wait to see how the story continues. luckily we won't have to wait that long ;) what I really appreciate about this anime is how upfront it is about everything and it doesn't shy away from difficult subject matter. Rudeus is just a likeable bastard haha sometimes he crosses the line lol but u still wanna root for him no matter what.

The reason Rudeus cried is because he was cured, but not just because of the impotence but because of what caused it. When he woke up he was alone, just like when Eris abandoned him. Then he remembers that he had seen that aphrodisiac in Roa, the city where he lived with Eris which surely brought back many memories. Then when he looks to the side he finds a red spot, just like with Eris (her hair). Then when Sylphy enters the room explaining that he only left to thank Ariel and Luke, can you imagine the relief he felt? That's the cure he got from Sylphy. Man I love this scene, very well constructed. Great reaction, looking forward to April to follow your reactions as it airs.

I may be the minority, but while I love Mushoku Tensei as a whole, even in the novel this whole ED/college arc was the least interesting of the series for me. I prefer what happened before and what will happen after that. I'm unsure how far the 2nd part of the second season will be able to show, but overall trust me the best is to come. It's still not quite there yet though.

I really wish you had watched the Ending at some point. It's a very good Ending. They showed it episodes 5-11. Also, If you noticed when Rudy woke up there was no music and once Rudy noticed the bed was empty and the clothes were gone he looked out the window. Rudy's trauma was always what Eris did to him. Once Sylphy walks through the door, the music returns. At this point his trust in Sylphy is reaffirmed and he is finally cured of his ED. He was crying because of how relieved and happy he was that Sylphy didn't ditch him.
