For the record, normally a servant whose master is dead can't exist for a long time anymore. The master is the weak link, and must be protected (especially from the assassin class, specialized in killing masters by surprise). Some servants have more independant actions possible, it's especially the case for the caster class: if they harvest enough mana they can survive without a master supplying mana for them. That's why Caster here would have survived (at least for a while) even after his master was dead. I think it's a good time to show you the stats sheets of most servants now, it won't spoil anything anymore (except for one or two I won't show). I'll do it on discord, after I get back home.
