(18:00) the consequence of Puck breaking his oath is not being himself anymore, whatever that means. It really was more of a movie then an OVA, but the difference is pretty murky for anime sometimes. Re:Zero is kinda like AoT, where everytime they answer a question, 2 more get asked, so while you continually learn more, the mystery builds up quicker. It's also worth noting that Emilia could have 2 half elf parents as well. People often forget that that's a possibility when talking about her genetics. We'll probably talk more about that later. ahhh, be careful reading summaries, they sometimes have future information in them (though I'm not sure where you actually read this summary, I didn't see any spoilers skimming through wikipedia and the Re:Zero wiki). It's worth noting that Re:Zero is mostly told from Subaru's perspective, and so we the viewer often don't have perfect information about the world and such. It's actually something that I find very interesting, because sometimes the world is wrong about certain things and everyone will pass of something as a fact, when in reality (and it can be proven to be the case) it went down differently. An example of this is the creator of the White Whale, which Crusch claimed was the Witch of Envy, but as you learned in Season 2, it was actually created by someone else. It's certainly not that easy to understand though. It's a reason why I think rewatching Re:Zero is a completely difference experience then watching for the first time, since you have much more information about things, and you can really see how much you can see certain aspects of characters before they really reveal their intentions (though I wouldn't recommend reacting to a rewatch because you'll run into a similar thing with AoT where people just aren't that into rewatching a series).
