I can't feel nothing but sorry for Subary because at this point, the complete randomness of events is making me feel hopeless. The whale just disappeared, Subaru just killed Emilia by revealing his respawn ability, and now Petelgeuse comes in to finish the job. What a fantastic day.

Puck gave a hint about something here. You'll see next ep anyway.

When Emilia said "Why are you crying, as if you're in such pain" automatically came to my mind the scene where Mayuri said something similar to Okabe in SG0, sad. Btw, Petelgeuse VA is the same as Sora in NGNL and Inosuke in DS.

I think the big difference between Mushoku Tensei and Re:Zero is that Mushoku Tensei is much more adventure focused, and so you go to a bunch of various places, and Re:Zero has more mystery elements, where the viewer is mostly limited to only the limited information that Subaru knows (which isn't very much, since he mostly spends his time trying not to die or let the people he cares about die terrible deaths). At least at this point. Fun fact, the author of Re:Zero (Tappei Nagatsuki) and the author of Mushoku Tensei (Rifujin Magonote), are good friends with each other and both love each others work. Tappei is also close friends with Natsume Akatsuki, who wrote KonoSuba. This one is more wild because they were friends before they actually started writing. The story goes that they were in the bar and were discussing various isekai elements that they liked , and they decided to both write an isekai story going in very different directions, both which became wildly successful. IIRC there was a bet on who would get serialized in a light novel first (KonoSuba won by about 3 months). The 2 OVA's are Memory Snow, and then The Frozen Bond, and you're good to watch them after Season 1. Memory Snow might be listed under the directors cut as Episode EX, so if you can't find it, check the directors cut listing. The Frozen Bond I think is listed as it's own thing as most OVA usually are. I liked your theories at the end, but I won't speak much about them lest I confirm or deny something, but they seem pretty well founded, which is all I can ask for in theorizing.
