Holy shit. This episode was simply a work of art. What did I just actually watch?

Ill be honest I only subscribed to see your reaction to this infamous episode. It is one of the most memorable anime episodes I have ever seen. I am now unsubscribing, your patreon pricing is honestly ludicrous compared to other reactors. Priced anywhere from 4 times to 20 times as much as others. Considering I live in south africa with a 1usd to 20zar exchange rate, its just too much.

It's called capitalism buddy, if there was more demand then prices would be lower.

He has to make a living as well. I'm sure that if it was possible for him to make the prices lower he would, but he just does not have the following (at least yet) to do so. I do remember his prices used to be much lower when he was reacting to AOT, but that was a different case as he had nearly 3x the amount of patreon subscribers as he does now. It's a though situation for everyone.

Hey Ashley! Thanks for the feedback, I totally understand your criticisms. I actually agree with you that I wish there was a way for me to price tiers according to people's regions, but there isn't here on Patreon. Price standards and minimum wage differs highly per country, so it's not fair to ask people in places like South Africa to pay the exact same equivalent of what people in America would pay. Still, there's not really much I can do about it for now. Go figure, I'm currently putting out 8 videos a week and dedicating my whole week to this channel but I'm still making less than what's considered minimum wage over in my country. I've got my own little apartment now too and what I'm earning is just enough to pay my bills atm. I will say that I'm taking your criticism to heart and I'm gonna keep looking how I can make the Patreon worth the price even more! I hope you'll continue enjoying the Re:Zero reactions nonetheless wherever you watch them!

A bit late to the discussion. It is a matter of can one afford the subscription for earlier content. I can understand his viewpoint as a fellow South African, but I must also add that the amount of shows in your schedule are above all other channels so I think your price matches that amount of work. I just though of a suggestion, is it possible to have different tiers at lower prices for each show? It sounds like it could be a mess though, but may bring in a few viewers.

That track at the end (requiem of silence) is really fantastic.

One thing to mention that your subs probably have incorrect. The Archbishop of Sloth's name is Petalguese, not Betalguese. After Season 1 aired, the author confirmed that his name is specifically Petalguese and not Betalguese for some plot reason (that I don't know). The world of Re:Zero doesn't have a name, but the kingdom they are in is named the Dragon's Kingdom of Lugunica (There are other kingdoms, that will probably be relevant later on in the story). I think regarding Subaru's attitude change at the end is mostly due to him now having a target to aim at. At the start of the episode, he's mostly blaming himself since he wanted to have Emilia be in a predicament so that he could save her (thus proving his usefulness to her), and when he was comatose, he was coming to gripes that that scenario was something that he actually wanted. And then when Petalguese enters, it gives him someone else to blame for everything, so he stops feeling bad about himself and starts feeling angry at Petalguese.
