It started as a hilarious episode, evolved into a heroic one, and ended on a devastating note. It sucks we won't be seeing more of Sauros in the show anymore...

I mean Sauros did nothing. Which is the problem. The time that weird thing in the sky showed up, he said he doesn't know what it is and that isn't a bad thing. Because its better that way. And then it was never brought up again by him.

It wasn't the list of the "missing" people that Roxy looked at, it was the list of the confirmed dead people... The mana disaster wiped out entire villages, and the city in which Eris' family lived. All over the region the Boreas family (thus Sauros himself) had the responsibility for.

It's a shame the anime never shows the worldmap, you would understand better what the characters do (crossing the Millis continent to reach the central continent, in which the Asura kingdom is, this is the kingdom in which Rudeus' village and the Boreas family territory are, said to be the largest kingdom in the world). Checking the map on the wiki might be a good idea.
