It was already clear It's Always Sunny wouldn't shy away from any sensitive topics, but I actually loved how they handled this one. There was some hilarious symbolism, with Dennis in the crossfire of everyone for being on the fence.

I really like your reviews at the end where you lay out how the comedy applies to the real world. I love when comedy puts a mirror to your face and says, "You're being a dumbass." lol

Haha thanks man. Yeah no matter what political side people take, everybody is gonna be a hypocrite to some extent and it's cool how the show touches that on all sides equally it seems haha

not just being on the fence metaphor but also the fact they were throwing unborn chicken embryos/eggs haha about politics...culture war left vs right stuff is meant to divide and distract people from uniting on class issues. so you have the surface level bullshit politics focused on that, but the deeper layer is just understanding how power operates, and how it manipulates us against each other when the secret they don't want us to realize, is if workers unite and block the flow of capital, we can make demands and have leverage. but they want us arguing about abortion, guns, trans lgbt etc so it's artificially inflated in the media. and these left vs right tribes become like sports teams i agree it's great how Sunny seems to make fun of all sides, how south park once was. (this changes around season 12/13 but you can be the judge of that once you get there)
