The first time a show has ever managed to make me get teary-eyed on camera. I could not have possibly wished for a better ending to my favorite anime which Steins;Gate has become over the course of this reaction series, and I mean it when I say I felt sad for days after watching this episode and realizing it was actually all over now. Keep in mind, we're not completely done yet! I'll be reacting to the two remaining OVA's, as well as the Steins;Gate movie in the coming weeks while including one last special surprise for the final video! I also plan to start working on an in-depth analysis video, reflecting on the entire Steins;Gate journey which you'll be the first to see when it's finished on Patreon. Thank you all for having joined me for all these months :)

I am really considering going through the visual novel. It takes a lot of time but I am sure it is worth the read. If you are considering, I would suggest doing a quick visual novel to get you introduced in the medium before committing.

Yeah there's only really Doki Doki that Id heard about before. I definitely think Ill play through the Steins;Gate VN's eventually though, but probably best to let some time pass so it all feels more fresh again even if I assume there'll be lots of additional content as well! :)

Just a note about the original VN for steins;gate, you won't be able to get the true ending, the one that's in the anime, on your first play through without a guide. The system in place for making choices that count toward the true ending goes under the radar if you don't know about it in advance, and even if you do notice it there's no way to know what the correct choices are.
