Some details of this special: - The images of what would happen in the future that we saw in Eren's dream in the first episode, are not part of the manga, it was original content from the anime and were used to replace the first vignette which is Mikasa saying "See you later, Eren", in this special, Mappa reanimated that scene making it completely faithful to the manga. - Besides being the first time Levi says "Give your heart", if I'm not mistaken it's also the first time he calls Hange by her name, he always refers to her with nicknames, like four eye and others. - In the first season we could see the Female Titan using the hardening to protect her neck, if I'm not mistaken this is due to having consumed some of the Armored Titan's spinal fluid just like Eren was able to use it after drinking a bottle that said "Armored" to protect everyone when Historia's father became a titan. That's why Gabi and Falco believe that Falco's Jaw Titan might retain some of the Beast Titan's ability due to Falco becoming a titan with Zeke's spinal fluid. - Managing to dodge the Colossal Titans' footsteps is useless as you would be burned by the steam as seen at the beginning of the episode, and as Hange died. Thanks man! That's super useful input! I didn't even realize the visions Eren has in the first episode aren't actually in the manga. I always thought they'd have a deeper meaning eventually
