yeah it's been almost 10 years since I last seriously tried to edit something, took way longer than I intended for putting a few notes in lmao

31:43 Yeah I added that note because the anime has a bad perspective there and you can't really tell how big it is. You even said it looks like it's chasing them both, but it's actually a few kilometers in the background and idk how tall (actually the height wasn't in the wiki lol) But length wise, they are between 100m and 1000m long. So I would assume the height is somewhat in proportion to that.

36:28 I also understand why they cut these things, so be it if they don't have enough time and have to finish vol 12 this season. But I'm still disappointed and concerned. I mean while the things that got cut were not required for the plot, Mushoku Tensei always had that real and grounded feeling because of all the details in world building and character interactions and I'm getting a bit scared that they are beginning to cut a bit of the wrong things. This video didn't even touch on most of the actual interactions between Rudeus and Elinalise and the banter between them, which was so enjoyable to follow. Bumped her to one of my favorite characters. And these small moments are important for character building. Them being confronted by different situations and us seeing how they react and handle them influences the vision we have of them. Just a small example at the end Rudeus get's a bit disturbed with eating some child monsters, thinks about it and reaches a conclusion. And AniNews for some reason included only half that scene. That's why I added that note (which also wasn't even the full sentence). He mentions the premise of that situation but not how Rudeus reacted to it. But the scene is only relevant if we see/hear Rudeus thoughts. In that case he could have just fully skipped that scene and instead included something different. Even this video was only like 30% of the cut content. That's why my injecting notes into the video got kind of out of hand because I disagreed at a lot of places about what he chose to include in this video. Well S1 had similar huge cuts, like the skipped Zenith and Eris POV chapters. But for those I still think they are planning to include them in the future. Ah well but this is just the opinion of some rando on the internet. I never did any story directing.
