The section of the anime always requires a number of explanations because of certain things left out of the anime. (1) Milim didn't kill her father. I don't know what he was doing, though. (2) There are two people with Milim after her rampage, one we'll meet later, the other is actually Ramiris before she "fell". Apparently she was exposed to too many dragonic and another type of magicules that caused a devolution to a pixie. Then she went into these death/rebirth cycles. (3) Rimuru did not tell his people about Veldora. (4) Dwargo and Vesta, etc. are all dwarves. In the light novels, he is tall for a dwarf, but not tall. I don't know why they changed it. Regardless he is a dwarf. At some point they explain that many of the races that exist are devolutions of prior races, and some of the older ones are closer to the origin races. Nevertheless, elves and dwarves, at least, are classified as demi-humans. At times they get grouped with humans, and others with monsters. It depends on who you ask and the situation. So definitely Youm and his team are human. Everyone in the opposing army is human. (5) Rimuru might have a human form, but he is a monster. He exists on magicules, he needed to be named, etc. (6) Demon Lord generally means, a strong monster who rules a territory (even though some don't). Most are strong enough to at least have a demon lord seed, and some are strong despite not being by nature able to have a demon lord seed. Too much holy attribute. A True Demon Lord is completely different. It is an evolution resulting from someone with a demon lord seed absorbing the energy of human souls. It's only human souls that work. Not all the recognized Demon Lords of the world are True Demon Lords. To be a recognized Demon Lord, the other Demon Lords must accept you. (7) Rimuru doesn't actually have to kill them all himself, someone connected to him must do it according to his will. In this case, Rimuru wants to take responsibility and make sure nothing goes wrong. (8) Falmuth actually is guarding the road because they actually are planning on killing those fleeing from Tempest, even humans, because they don't want any witnesses. But Rimuru got them out via a gate in space that he opened, since he suspected as much.
