I usually don't rewatch the first OVA's, but I'm here for the third. There's not much to say because it's all teasers so far. About teleportation. The teleportation associated with the platforms, like you saw in the town square, are actually a piece of dwarven technology, it requires a person to set up a token or magic circle at both ends which someone has to physically visit. In the novel, Rimuru set one of these in his room at the school. This is called Warp Portal (although it has a couple of names due to translation variation). Then there is Spatial Motion which has some limitations, but does not have fixed terminals. Rimuru learned that from the space spirit in Alice. (I think.) There are more advanced forms. Of course, there was Shadow Motion, which is like a shadow dimension. It takes real time to pass through it. I think there is also a gate-like method to link two locations, I forget its name, though. There are a lot of fine variations on a number of Skills.
