It isn't really a thing in Kpop, but a 'major label debut' is different than a 'debut'. They weren't just trainees in 2019, they were active but in a kind of 'indie' period. (not completely indie in this case but you get the idea) Many Japanese idols do this to varying degrees. Just like if you were to start a band you would have to actually write songs and play pub gigs before you get picked up by a label.

Mitsuki is the youngest (2003) and joined in 2021. The other members are all 2000 or 2001. Also Soli is Korean, you might have missed when she said that.
