From quick googling, you need powder to lift fingerprints with tape. Maybe you can get some semblance of a print depending on the oiliness of the finger and the composition of the touched surface but movies need to use “science” within the confines of storytelling so taking liberties isn’t shocking. 🙂. Glad you enjoyed this one, looking forward to the conclusion of the trilogy next.

If we're talking about Bourne's fingerprints? why would they need to lift them when they owned the guy for years... They already have them on file and for that matter have a technique such as gloved reproductions to generate phony ones
