So I haven’t watched your reaction yet Dawn. But I wanted to chime in with my two cents on this film. This film is so highly derivative of so many things. There was nothing fresh or original going on in this film. Even all the supposed shocking moments, it’s all been done. Period blood utilized in a sexual way, been done. The HBO series Girls had a whole thing about it. I’ve seen a character stick their dick in the dirt and fuck the ground. I’ve seen it! Joaquin Phoenix did this in the Paul Thomas Anderson film, “The Master” The drinking of the bath water. That’s a cheesy old pick up line that was commonly used. It was said in Spike Lee’s first movie from the 80s, “She’s Gotta Have it” “Baby you’re so fine, I’ll drink a tub of your bath water.” It’s a cheesy, funny old pick up line The end of Saltburn was attempting to do a Usual Suspects style reveal montage. Except where the ending of The Usual Suspects felt like a revelation, the end reveal montage of Saltburn just feels really shallow and obvious. Hell! The movie “Wild Things” which is mostly known and remembered for a threesome scene with three beautiful actors and some lesbian action between Denise Richards and Neve Campbell, that movie had a more airtight script with more believable character motivations and plausible twists and turns Some how this very awkward creep charmed a beautiful wealthy woman who would probably have had many wealthy powerful men lined up around the block trying to get with her once she’s available. But for some reason, she puts all her faith in some weird awkward creep she only briefly met. Oh yeah, he tells her she is “so fooking beautiful” And when he said that, Ito really seemed so authentic and she was really flattered! In case you couldn’t tell that was sarcasm. That’s not how the scene played at all. He didn’t come across as endearing or desirable and she seemed to just blow the awkward flirtation off. Oh but then she suddenly finds him irresistible and can’t manage without him! Why? How does that happen? Well, because the script needed that to happen. And then the basic overall story and themes are heavily borrowed from a novel and film adaptation of the story “The Talented Mr Ripley” (1999) based on the book by Patricia Highsmith from 1955 And honestly I wish you would have watched Ripley first because “The Talented Mr. Ripley” is a masterpiece from an Oscar winning director with stellar performances from everyone involved! All the characters in Ripley are believable with believable motivations. The script is actually solid and airtight. Everything adds up and makes sense. Unlike Saltburn where characters simply do things for the sake of a contrived plot that is being pushed. You should definitely check out Ripley at some point because it is a brilliant film. But maybe give it a year or two to allow the bad taste of Saltburn to wash away a bit.

Hey Michael Hartsell!!! Remember the time I had you running scared when I called out your perverted degenerate behavior. Yeah you kept crying for me to engage with you, then when I finally did, you went radio silent. Like you were terrified to respond to my posts directed at you. Why would that be? 🤔 Could it be because I was bringing up the fact that you’re a dirty old man creeping and perving on a girl young enough to be your granddaughter. You were asking a girl young enough to be your granddaughter to dress up in sexy outfits for you. YOU ASKED A GIRL YOUNG ENOUGH TO BE YOUR GRANDDAUGHTER TO DRESS UP LIKE MARILYN MONROE FOR YOU!!! AND ANOTHER TIME YOU ASKED A GIRL YOUNG ENOUGH TO BE YOUR GRANDDAUGHTER TO REPLICATE THE JANET LEIGH LOOK FROM PSYCHO!!! Which Janet Leigh look from Psycho were you hoping a girl young enough to be your granddaughter would replicate for you? And yet when I continued to address you after you had been crying for me to engage with you, you remained, radio silent… When I asked you Michael Hartsell what you do when you’re not playing the tough guy online, what, expose yourself to children in the park? You didn’t respond at all. Radio silent…. And yet you were still active on Patreon and talking shit to other people, you were just too scared to respond to my posts. You know Michael Hartsell, the question I asked you, If you expose yourself to children in the park. Most normal healthy people would be outraged by that question and all its implications. Most normal innocent people would be indignant at being asked that question. You weren’t outraged Michael Hartsell. You weren’t indignant. Your response was…. Radio silence…. Nothing… Kind of weird.

I couldn't agree with you more. I'm not familiar with "The Talented Mr. Ripley", in book or movie form, but I hear what you're saying. It just struck me as (& God forgive me for my horrible political incorrectness) a high school fag's idea of a short story or play to write for an assignment & then share with all his fagotty friends. "Ooohh, everyone's so beautiful & spoiled rottten rich & debauched, & the nice darling boy tricks all of them & kills everyone & usurps their mansion, oooohhh". Oh brother. Trite & hackneyed.

Do watch “The Talented Mr. Ripley” You’ll be shocked at the night and day difference how these very similar story ideas and themes can be handled when executed by a competent and mature storyteller.

Michael Hartsell

All I read was "had me running scared". Funny don't remember that. Just checked in to say hello. Just like Arnold "I'll be back".

Michael Hartsell

I just love getting you all wound up I can acually feel your hands trembling as you type with anger. Love It!

So long as everyone is made aware that you are a pervert who should never be trusted to be left alone with a child.

Hey, I don't know what happened between you 2, but can we maybe try to have a civil comment section? Let's keep it related to the movies & the content of the videos. I think we owe Dawn that much. I'm sure she'd rather have people enjoying the experience here more than not. Cheers! ☮️✌🏻

This from the guy who dropped multiple slurs as his way to criticize a movie. 😂 FYI dude. Dropping slurs in the comments doesn’t exactly make for a civil comments section or discourse either bruh… You don’t have to resort to slurs to criticize a movie
