Edward Norton is a phenomenal actor. You should see him in two best performances he was nominated for "Primal Fear" (1996) and "American History X" (1998)! I hope you add them to your list!!!

lol it's not a boy thing you just started guessing everything could be a sham once one thing proved to be (pretty natural response, we've all done it at some point when one thing we thought was true turned out to not be) So, just to make a little sense of things it was (as noted above) just two personalities in one guy, Edward Norton's character (who never gets named in the movie) and the personality he splits into, Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt of course) It is implied that what started off as insomnia turned into like: while he believed he was sleeping or trying to sleep, he was actually off being Tyler doing the film splicing and catering jobs (in the movie the narrator says "tyler was a night person, while other people were sleeping he was working" and when he is talking to the doctor in the beginning he says he nods off in one place and wakes up in another with no memory of how he got there -- that's probably him being Tyler instead of himself) Eventually the Tyler personality gets so strong that edward norton's character starts to sort of watch from outside while Tyler is in control, and that's him seeing and hearing Tyler. at the end, he shoots out the back of of his mouth and to the side, the bullet exits near the hinge of his jaw. He says "my eyes are open" and i think (this is just my own theory now) i think it's something like, it's probably impossible to keep your eyes open through that, so if he has his eyes open, then the one in the body getting shot has to be Tyler and that's how Tyler is convinced he's the one that's been shot in the head. idk it probably explains it better in the book, which i have not read Anyway, everyone else was real, Marla was dating a guy named Tyler who would periodically act like he hated her or say things like "Tyler isn't here" to her face... And Bob was the only person in the club who was friends with the main character- everyone else in fight club was a cult follower of Tyler, and edward norton's character was just this un-trusted personality that sometimes showed up, but for Bob, he and the main character met and shared a bond before fight club started, and Tyler was just a part of him he got to know later. Hope that was the explanation you were asking for, thanks for your great content!

We have a case here of Detective Dawn attempting to be too clever after the realization of the total failure of her detective skills. You’ll get em next time Dawn! Keep at it tiger.
