That’s funny you picked up on Garth not knowing the words to Bohemian Rhapsody. The actor who played Garth said he had never heard the Queen song before doing the movie.

I like that you know who Sweet is!

So. is there an entry in Guinness World Records for most cameos in 1 movie? 🤣

That was fantastic and just the reaction I needed to see today. Dana Carvey did his own drum-playing for the music shop scene. The Queen song "Bohemian Rhapsody" nearly didn't make it into the film. Mike Myers desperately wanted it, but Paramount and the film's producer, Lorne Michaels, opposed it. Myers threatened to quit the production if he didn't get what he wanted, and eventually, they all agreed. When Wayne and Garth are on the hood of the car watching aeroplanes fly over, Garth asks Wayne if he ever thought Bugs Bunny was attractive in women's clothing. The comment was an ad-lib by Dana Carvey made while waiting for an incoming plane to finally come into the scene. Mike Myers said in 2013 that he didn't think including the Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) reference would be funny, but that "people went shithouse over it." This is the second film based on Saturday Night Live (1975) material, the first being The Blues Brothers (1980).
