Dawn, I've heard Alan Tudyk wasn't willing to sign up for a sequel after all the other cast would during the making of Serenity. Perhaps that affected Joss's decision about his fate in the film. Regardless, had a nice watch party to your cool full reactions vid of this classic sci fi adventure series. A real easy show to understand at the start & get into easily is Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Most sci fi movie fans have seen Terminator 2: Judgement Day, which sets up everything. Even Roswell explains its premise fast for its sci fi TV series. I sent you both. I BET you can't watch just the 1st episode of either one of them without getting hooked for more! As for Serenity, it's always "still flying" in my heart! Also in other very cool mediums too! All good things . . . tho.

This series was the first I'd ever seen of it's cast of actors, and even now, when I see any of them in other roles, my first thoughts are of their Firefly characters. Nathan Fillion in Castle or The Rookie, Adam Baldwin and Summer Glau popping up in Chuck, Jewel Staite and Sean Maher in Warehouse 13, and Morena Baccarin in Deadpool 1&2, for example off the top of my head.

So you have no choice but to chase the high by watching it all over and over again. One day your husband will find you alone in a dark room wearing an orange floppy hat quietly singing "you can't take the sky from me.'' If anyone tries to approach you, you'll just scream "I SWEAR BY MY PRETTY FLORAL BONNET I WILL END YOU AND SEND YOU TO THE SPECIAL HELL." No shame in it, All of us browncoats have been there.

Unrelated Christmas film suggestion, We're No Angels (1955). I was feeling like a Bogart movie last night and decided to rewatch this gem since it's been a while and couldn't stop thinking about how much you would enjoy it. If you're keeping a list of films to react to for the holidays, this should certainly be on it.

Seeing the full movie again, the higher detail of Serenity, and the higher cinematic production on a great crew is really rich and moving to a browncoat, even on after all this time. We finally joined your Patreon, just to watch the full Serenity with you. We (wife and I) watch You Tube reactions a lot, but never sat and watched a full reaction on Patreon before. It is has be true fun to watch along with you Dawn. Hoping for a series you will storngly consider next... Terminator the Sara Conner Chronicles. It takes place after Terminator 2. It is a good sized, series to follow and though a different ride, it is a good story.
