Classic, and this movie has one of my favorite 80s tough guys, Sonny Landham (you may want to add 48 Hours to your list). Get ready for an introduction to an entire franchise, including crossovers with the Alien franchise. Loved the reaction!

Jean-Claude Van Damme was the predator (before he was famous) but quit as the 12 hours days, in the heat, wearing a suit, so he quit. What a wimp. They replaced him with Kevin Peter Hall (R.I.P) and reshot the scences. He did such a great job that they gave him a cameo role at the end of the film, The tall black guy in the helicopter. He also played bigfoot in harry and the hendersons, just some fun facts for you Dawn

Guerrilla fighting is like using the terrain to hide and make sneak attacks. In the old days large armies would fight in open fields. Guerilla fighting is like jungle fighting, sneaking around attacking in skirmishes and then running away. "It is irregular warfare using hit and run tactics." So you could be a guerrilla fighter or a guerrilla soldier or using guerrilla tactics. Usually a smaller group would take on a much larger army in this way if they can use ambush, hit and run, set traps maybe. Uh-oh now don't get any ideas... 😉😋

Supercool reaction. I love the Alien, Predator and AVP movies. You are like a detective with your deductive reasoning. The movie takes place in an unspecified South American country in 1987. The film provided a variety of hardships for the actors, such as leeches, snakes, stifling humidity, heat, and rough terrain. All of the night scenes were filmed during freezing cold temperatures, which was especially hard on Arnold Schwarzenegger during the latter half of the film, when the mud he had to wear (actually pottery clay) became cold and wet. Kevin Peter Hall, the Predator, is also visible without his "Predator Suit" and make-up towards the end, as one of the helicopter rescue crew. A Guerrilla is a member of a small independent group taking part in irregular fighting, typically against larger regular forces.
