T2 is one of the few sequels that truly surpasses its predecessor. For Sunday, I'd still suggest a great romance or romantic comedy. "An Affair to Remember" (1957) starring Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr, it is considered one of the most romantic films of all time. A significant film in the canon of classic romances, references to it are an important part of the plot of Nora Ephron's "Sleepless in Seattle." "Moonstruck" (1987) starring Cher and Nicolas Cage, it was nominated for six Oscars winning three: Best Actress- Cher; Best Supporting Actress - Olympia Dukakis; Best Original Screenplay - John Patrick Shanley. As much about family as about romance, it is that rare thing: a non-sappy romantic comedy.
