Unlisted can still get blocked for the full reactions 🙄 I've tried this already it's a pest! I wonder if there's a way that you can download and watch.

Awesome reaction. I can’t tell you how much I love the character of Ripley and the entire Alien/Predator franchise. If you forced me to pick a favourite movie this would probably be it. For me, it is the perfect combination all the genres I really love. I am positive you would have really enjoyed the special edition more. It contains some great scenes including one where Burke informs Ripley about her daughter and what happened to her during the 57 years they were apart, a scene where Newt’s family find the derelict spaceship and scenes where sentry guns repel alien attacks. The crew sleep in cryo-chambers. A cryo-chamber is a plastasteel chamber that allows all of a starship's non-essential personnel to be cryonically frozen for long periods of time. During this time the running of the ship becomes the responsibility of the main computer and/or a synthetic. The crew are woken upon arriving close to their destination. The primary purpose of the resin is seemingly twofold — as well as being used to cocoon and immobilize captured hosts for implantation via Facehugger, its non-uniform, bio-organic appearance also allows adult Xenomorphs to camouflage themselves when at rest, to the extent that humans have stood directly beside hiding Drones and had no idea of the imminent threat. The material is excreted from the creature's jaws, particularly by Drone and Worker castes. Al Matthews, who plays Sergeant Apone, was in real life the first black Marine to be promoted to the rank of sergeant in the field during service in Vietnam. In Alien (1979), a 7-feet tall performer had been used to portray the Alien, so that it would tower over the human characters. Since this film called for many Aliens and the production would never be able to find so many tall people, 6-feet stunt performers were hired, reasoning that the humans and Aliens would hardly be seen in the same frame anyway. Tall, remote-controlled Alien puppets with very thin arms and legs were used in some shots, to make the creatures appear less like the traditional 'man in a suit'. The original design of the Xenomorph head from Alien (1979) was initially copied. It had a ridged forehead with a layer of semi-translucent gel covering the ridges, to make it appear smooth. When James Cameron saw the heads as a work in progress without the gel, he thought the ridges made the heads more interesting, so the gel was left out. The difference in appearance between the creatures from both films has since been the subject of several fan theories, one being that the ridged Xenomorphs from Aliens are much older than their only hours-old counterpart from the first movie, and have lost the covering gel as part of their natural maturation process. Another theory is that the ridged Aliens are a warrior caste within the species, specifically bred to protect the Queen. The Alien nest set was kept intact after filming. It was later used as the Axis Chemicals set for Batman (1989). When the Batman crew first entered the set, they found most of the Alien nest still intact. Well spotted. Private Drake was played by Mark Rolston who appeared in The Shawshank Redemption as Bogs Diamond. In addition to the Predator and AVP movies, Blade Runner (1982), Soldier (1998) and Blade Runner 2049 (2017) are also connected to this franchise. The continuity from Predator movies to Blade Runner doesn’t match up though, leading to the theory that although set in the same universe the Blade Runner movies are in an alternate reality where technology advanced more quickly. The TV series Firely (2002 – 2003) and Serenity, the Firely movie (2005) are also theorised to be part of the Alien Universe. The series is set in the year 2517, which would be 138 years after the events of Alien Resurrection. EDIT: I don’t think there is a correct way to watch the movies (many begin with the original Alien Quadrilogy), but the complete chronological order (if anyone is interested) would be: 1719: Prey (2022 Predator Prequel) 1987: Predator (1987) 1997: Predator 2 (1990) 2004: AVP: Alien vs Predator (2004) 2004: AVPR: Aliens vs. Predator – Requiem (2007) Early 2010s: Predators (2010) 2018: The Predator (2018) 2019: Blade Runner (1982) 2036: Soldier (1998) 2049: Blade Runner 2049 (2017) 2089: Prometheus (2012 Alien Prequel) 2104: Alien: Covenant (2017) 2122: Alien (1979) 2179: Aliens (1986) 2180 (approx.): Alien³ (1992) 2379: Alien Resurrection (1997) 2517: Firely (2002 – 2003) 2517: Serenity (2005)

Good grief, never trust TikTok lol. About to watch this. Cheers! Edit: Well, Dawn I had that problem again with frequent freezing on your end but with remote in hand I was able to keep up well enough. The freezes at your end are so short they are really hard to even notice. On some reactions it never happens and on some it is worse than this was. No idea why this would be... Maybe you should use unlisted YouTube links at your end? Just a thought.

Who theorized that last bit, gorrammit? That ain't shiny at all! (I also think Joss AND Tim would have something to say about those rutting theories...) lol
