Don’t feel sorry for the 00’s and 10’s: In the 00’s, studios.first tasted multi-film series laziness, as Warner found themselves blessed with three LOTR films and eight Harry Potter films already written and in production (while other studios had Twilight and Hunger Games), and the thrill of knowing EXACTLY what movie they’d be releasing at this same time a year from now— While the 10’s had every studio thinking they’d finally figured out How Marvel Does It, and trying to tie their own movie franchises together in the dark to create a “Crossover universe”.
