D Scott Howard

Chico was given that nickname when 1st in vaudeville as he was known as a "chicken chaser" slang at the time for a womanizer. The early movies "The Cocoanuts 1929" and "Animal Crackers 1930" were successful Broadway plays that were made into movies. The Cocoanuts was one of the early talkies. "A Night at the Opera 1935" and "A Day at the Races 1937" were produced by Irving Thalberg and were considered their best films by Groucho.. After Thalberg died (age 37) the Marx Brothers movies were never quite the same. But even those later ones have their classic moments. Thanks for the laughs.

One time Harpo had a dollar bill so he put it befind the wallpaper in their bedroom and pressed the wallpaper back into place. The next day he went to get his money, it was gone but the wallpaper was not disturbed. So harbor would send his money as soon as he got any.
