After that ending to One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (still not over it 😭), I feel we need some cheering up. So, voila! All suggestions from that ever-growing list of movies I've got.

Just a heads up, Dr Strangelove kind of flew over mine. Only realised it was a comedy about halfway through 🤦‍♀️ I maybe should have watched a few more war movies before diving into it 🤣

Dr. Strangelove wasn’t a satire on war movies, but on the real general paranoia the US Pentagon had about Soviet Russia during the 50’s-60’s Cold War. If we’re nervous about Putin today, things were even shakier with Nikita Kruschev threatening to bomb the decadent west, and war-hawk generals eager to get into a scrap with Them Commie Reds.

Peter Sellers was best known for 'The Pink Panther' series, which I highly recommend. He was also part of the ensemble cast in 'Murder By Death'. And his best work, next to 'Strangelove' was 'Being There'.
